Dyslexia Assessment Tutoring and Advice (DATA) offers support to people of all ages experiencing Dyslexic–type specific difficulties in their learning.
DYSLEXIA - a complex condition which usually includes persistent difficulty with reading and/or spelling which contrasts with apparent general ability
ASSESSMENT - includes an initial battery of tests examining various aspects of the student’s learning and then on-going formative and diagnostic assessment to support learning
TUTORING - is normally based on a block of one-hour lessons, usually in the student’s home
ADVICE - can be on a variety of topics ranging from the psychological implications of a positive diagnosis of Dyslexia to the practicalities of applying for linguistic support in examinations
